Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
